This guide is intended to provide guidance for searching IEEE Xplore, a full-text database providing access to technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics.

Getting Started

This guide is intended to provide guidance for searching IEEE Xplore, a full-text database providing access to technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics.  Included are: IEEE transactions, journals, magazines, conference proceedings, and standards; and IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) journals and conference proceedings.  

1.  Click on Searching Guides.  On this page is a link to: a) Searching IEEE Xplore.  This guide provides instructions on Basic Search, Advanced Search (Option 1 and Option 2), Publication Quick Search, and Scitopia.org Search.  b) IEEE Xplore - User Guides (available on IEEE Website).  Topics covered: Getting Started, Saving Searches and Setting Search Alerts, Advanced Search, IEEE Xplore New Features.  c) Searching IEEE Xplore (detailed instructions available on IEEE Xplore Website).  Topics covered among others: Basic Search, Advanced Search, Author Search, Publication Quick Search, Scitopia Search, Working with Search Results.
