How to Access Databases from Off Campus

On the Online Resources Page choose the online resource link.  If you are off campus, you should see the Jernigan Library Off Campus Access Login Page (as partially pictured in the image on this page).  Put in the appropriate information in the boxes (last name and k number) and select Submit.  If this form does not appear, or you receive an error message, or you are otherwise unable to connect, consult the Remote Access Information tab (included as part of this LibGuide) or contact the library at or (361) 593-3528.  Note that the University ID is the K number. The K number is NOT the first part of your email address (ksabc99, for example), but is the letter k followed by eight digits (k00000000, for example).  Note: the form partially pictured on this page is an image of the form you should see when you select an online resource link from off campus and is for illustrative purposes only. It is not the actual form.

Login Example

The login box shown in the image below will appear automatically when you select a database from the Online Resources page (  Use your name (last name alone is sufficient) and University ID (K number) to authenticate from this Off Campus Login.
